Brain-Body Fitness

Intense exercise without the stress!  Are you one of the 40 million American women struggling through menopause, have postpartum hormonal issues, or have symptoms of fatigue, weight gain and depression?  T-Tapp’s Method of Mindful Movement, as taught in this workout, can help you improve your metabolism and increase your energy.  It could be your first step to rebuilding better balance, fitness, and function the rest of your life.  The connection between brain-body fitness, stress, and intensive exercise will be explored using excerpts from public television’s Healthy Hormones Brain-Body Fitness as a primary tool.

  • *Come to the FREE Open House on Tuesday April 14 (6-7) PM to meet the instructor and learn more about this new class.  Registration for the open house is appreciated but not required.

The StrongWomen program is an evidence-based strength training program that is safe and effective for midlife and older women.  This training is studio based in a small group format.  The benefits of the program include increased muscle mass and strength, improved bone density and reduced risk for osteoporosis, reduced risk for diabetes and other medical conditions, as well as improved self-confidence.

This program is provided at the UFC as a service of the Dauphin County Penn State Cooperative Extension Office.
