Posture Power Sculpt

Posture Power Sculpt is the T-Tapp method of muscle activation to achieve better posture, loss of inches, improve lymphatic flow, aerobic conditioning, and brain-body health.  Beneficial for everybody, Posture Power Sculpt is especially effective addressing functional fitness issues of older adults. This workout uses no equipment and all aerobic training is non-impact.  Created to improve: posture, lymphatic health, core density, and muscle imbalance.

Do you need to work on your coordination, balance, endurance and strength?  Would you like to play with the grandkids longer or just have more energy?  Do you want to go for long bike rides with the local cycling club or hike part of the Appalachian Trail? Well Silver Spin-Ata might be the class for you then!

This six-week cross training class is appropriate for all fitness levels.  Our Silver Spin-Ata class will involve spinning (cycling) and a variety of off-the-bike Tabata-style exercises.  The goal of this high-intensity interval training is get the whole body involved.  Silver Spin-Ata is paired with body weight exercises for fat burning, cardio-vascular improvements and strength building.

The StrongWomen program is an evidence-based strength training program that is safe and effective for midlife and older women.  This training is studio based in a small group format.  The benefits of the program include increased muscle mass and strength, improved bone density and reduced risk for osteoporosis, reduced risk for diabetes and other medical conditions, as well as improved self-confidence.

This program is provided at the UFC as a service of the Dauphin County Penn State Cooperative Extension Office.
