On Wednesday, December 5th, Dr. Harjit Singh, Associate Dean for the Office of Diversity, presented the Champion Diversity Award to Professor Wenke Hwang, PhD, of the Department of Public Health Sciences for his inclusiveness, respectability, and passion for helping others.

The inaugural winner of the Champion Diversity Award was another faculty member of the Department of Public Health Sciences, Robin Taylor Wilson, Ph.D, in February of 2012. Dr. Wilson was recognized for modeling outstanding efforts, passion, and dedication to diversity. She has contributed to increasing understanding of diverse populations through research, teaching, mentoring, academic and community service. Thank you, Dr. Wilson, for your efforts and contributions.
